Happy Birthday to YOU!!! :

Emmie-Rose, today you would have been 9 years old. Amazing….! It was a whirlwind day when I wasn’t feeling well and we went to the hospital to get checked. Finding out I was having contractions was a crazy thought as you weren’t due til November. The doctor tried to stop them. After awhile, it was determined that they weren’t stopping and it was time for emergency delivery. Daddy and I were in complete shock and confused to what was happening. We were so scared not knowing what was about to happen…and that we might lose you right after birth. Everything went so fast once the doctor said we had to deliver right away. I delivered naturally, and You came out and they laid you on my chest. You were so tiny, We had never seen a baby that small before. You were Beautiful! I only got to enjoy you for a few seconds before I asked them to take you and do what they could to help you recover from being born too early. Your name was bigger than you……Emmie-Rose Payton J.B. Yannella. It was quite awhile before we could see you…and I was so scared to see you for the “first time” in your incubator. Once we saw you, our hearts melted. You were so Beautiful!! You “glowed” in your little “cloud” bed. Daddy could fit his Wedding Band around your wrist, and we could hold your hands through the little doors on the sides of your bed. Daddy took pictures everyday. You had good days and not so good days but you were a fighter til the very end.

   We will Always Love You, Baby Girl!
