The Story of Emmie-Rose

This is the story of a little girl that came into this world way ahead of schedule. Now fighting day by day until she can be home with her family. This is Emmie's story. From 23 weeks old on...

Dec 13th - Whats been going on.

Good morning everyone.

Last week the lawyers went in and closed up the original case we started
back in September to give Emmie-Rose a fighting chance. As you know
she passed away the night before court.

From what we have heard, everyone involved with Emmie-Rose's care
is scared of more legal stuff coming.
You got your answer in court last week. Game on U of M!

Can't say much more than that because as we all know....
Uncle Ed and his team of Grinches at the U are reading this blog as well.

Emmie-Rose, My Entire Family, Stephanie, and I should have never have
had to go thru everything we did.

On a brighter note:
The family spent some time at the cemetery over the weekend.
Emmie-Rose has a beautiful wreath with a huge red bow for her grave
blanket. I could not believe some grave sites had fully decorated
trees at them. I had never seen anything like that before.

I hope to post some more pictures and some video of Emmie-Rose
over the holiday weekend. I have 5 days off 22nd Thru 26th that
I'm looking forward to.

Baby Ava (Emmie-Rose's sister from another mother) got to go home
the week of Thanksgiving. That was awesome news to hear!
You grow baby Ava!
We keep you guys in our prayers and are thinking of you often.

Keeping in touch....

Love,

Chris and Stephanie

what do you mean her 'sister from another mother'? did i miss something in the blog about a second family or surrogacy? you could have left the hospital at any time and by the way, doctors and nurses don't convince other institutions to 'not give second opinions'. everyone is so damn arrogant that an instutution would have jumped at the chance to 'save a 23 weeker' even if they didn't have the knowledge or the facts. with no small intestine it sounds like the suffering would have gone on and on.

First of all, Whether You are someone that thinks they know the facts or just someone giving an opinion (that actually means absolutely nothing), You need to give your facts straight and read the WHOLE story before You start running your mouth about what you "think" you know and DONT. If You are from U of M and have something to say about the Case, Why dont you give Me a call and Talk to Me face to face if You are brave enough. I am tired of Your snide remarks. You all know what You did and there is nothing that can hide that. I just pray with all My heart You are treating other Babies and their families better than You treated Ours (though I have heard that Holden is NOT). Its a shame that You people think You can decide Yourselves what should happen to Our children. I just wonder if it bothers You at night when you go home what You did to Our daughter and how You treated Her and Us.
And if this is the person I think it is, You know exactly WHAT HAPPENED to the Transfers, Dont play dumb. And if You arent doing anything "wrong", Why dont you quit deleting your comments??? Dont want to be found out?? You know You were/are wrong and time will tell that.
Also, as far as a "sister from another mother" is concerned, You also know that one. If you dont, Then its NONE of your business!!
But whomever You are, If You dont like Our blog and the truth that is being told about U of M and the staff there, Just dont read Us.

    Emmie-Rose's Mommy Forever!!!

May You Rest in Peace Sweet Angel

    YOU GO STEPHANIE!!!

THAT ANONYMOUS PERSON HAD NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT!! MY SON HAS BROTHERS AND SISTERS FROM OTHER MOMS TOO CUZ THATS HOW CLOSE WE WERE TO THE OTHER BABIES AND THEIR MOMS. He even got treated so good by one nurse in particular that we say that she is his "Auntie" now.

Well so glad that the U of M thing is getting figured out.

Get Your facts straight before You try to comment!! I said, If you dont like Our Blog, DONT READ IT. I dont care if you read Our blog and disagree, its the fact that You dont know ALL the facts but want to try to comment like You do. I dont care if you side with Our situation or Not. I believe everyone has their own opinion and can comment with some respect to others. You are NOT better than Me, so dont try to play like You are. If you want to continue this discussion, please do so with Me alone. At least have that much respect for Yourself as well As Everyone else on Our Blog.

I have been thinking about your family over Christmas and the New Year. I hope you were able to enjoy the time with your family in the certain knowledge that Emmie-Rose was sharing the season with you.

Thank you for the continued updates.
